880	ii.	Benjamin GRIGGS was born on 14 August 1835 in Woodstock Township, Windham County, CT.^178,283,321 "He is the son of Solomon and Esther Barrett Griggs, and husband of Sarah S. Ball Griggs. In the Civil War, he was in Company G, 2nd Regiment, of the Connecticut Infantry. He died at age 38 in Missouri. He has a marker in Quassett Cemetery in Woodstock, Ct, and another at Oak Grove Cemetery in Union Star, DeKalb County, MO." He died on 19 December 1872 at the age of 37 in Missouri.¹⁷⁸ He was buried in South Woodstock, Windham County, CT.¹⁷⁸ in the Quasset Cemetery.
