Gideon GRIGGS Sr. and Susan "Sukey" BURNHAM were married in 1813 in Grafton County, NH.⁵ Susan "Sukey" BURNHAM⁵ was born on 9 March 1794 in Rumney Township, Grafton County, NH.⁵ She died on 25 January 1867 at the age of 72 in Littleton Township, Grafton County, NH.⁵ She was buried in Littleton Township, Grafton County, NH.²³ in the Ammonoosuc Meadows Cemetery.

Alvan GRIGGS23 was born on 1 January 1815.23 He served in the military on 24 December 1863 in Littleton Township, Grafton County, NH.23 He served in the Civil War and enlisted as a Private and mustered into Co. H, 9th New Hampshire Infantry. He transferred out on 1/1/1865 and transferred in to the 168th Co. Veteran Reserve Corps, 2nd Battalion. He was discharged on 9/28/1865 at Manchester, NH.. He died on 10 October 1886 at the age of 71.23 Alvan was buried in Littleton Township, Grafton County, NH.23 in the Ammonoosuc Meadows Cemetery.
