239. Lloyd Ellis DEWEY was born on 13 January 1897 in Monroe County, WI.^152,327 He graduated in 1914 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵⁵² from Tomah High School. He served in the military between 23 February 1918 and October 1919.⁵⁵³ in the USNRF. Lloyd served in the military between 8 January 1942 and 17 August 1946.⁵⁵³ He served as a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army as a member of the General Staff Corps, Engineering. About 1956 he was in New York City, Kings County, NY.⁵⁵³ He was a Professor at New York University. He lived in Hampton Bays, Long Island, Suffolk County, NY in May 1956.⁵⁵³ Lloyd on 3 May 1956.⁵⁵³ was granted membership in The Empire State Society of the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution, based on him being a descendant of Moses Dewey. He died on 24 March 1960 at the age of 63.^121,155
