20. Robert LaVerne BARTZ Sr. was born on 26 September 1927 in Monroe County, WI.¹³ He appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He died on 25 November 2001 at the age of 74.¹⁴

Robert LaVerne BARTZ Sr. and Phyllis LARSON were married on 11 August 1951.² Phyllis LARSON was born on 13 May 1931 in Wisconsin.¹⁴ She died on 19 February 2009 at the age of 77.¹⁴

Robert LaVerne BARTZ Sr. and Phyllis LARSON had the following children:

25	i.	Robert BARTZ Jr. was born (date unknown).
26	ii.	Richard "Rick" BARTZ was born on 10 November 1958.²⁰ After 1980 he was a school teacher.²⁰ He became very interested in his Hett ancestry and traveled to Germany on one or two occasions.
27	iii.	Steven BARTZ was born (date unknown).
