100. Myron J. BELCHER was born on 21 August 1929 in Camp Douglas, Cutler Township, Juneau County, WI.^34,87 He lived in Orange Township, Juneau County, WI in 1930.⁶³ He died on 5 February 2012 at the age of 82 in Reedsburg, Sauk County, WI.⁸⁷

Obituary Notes: "Myron J. Belcher, 82, of Reedsburg and formerly of Clifton, died on Sunday, Feb. 5, 2012, at the Sauk County Health Care Center in Reedsburg. He was the son of Harry and Cora (Brandt) Belcher and was born on Aug. 21, 1929, in Camp Douglas.

He was raised on the family farm near Ragged Rock. Myron was united in marriage to Mary E. Heerey on Dec. 10, 1949, in Mauston. Myron sold silos for most of his life and later was a road patrolman for the township of Oakdale in Monroe County. He lived in the Clifton area for 17 years and has lived the past 15 years in Reedsburg. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Myron liked to bowl, hunt and fish, especially his many fishing trips to Canada. He was a member of Camp Douglas Masonic Lodge and of the Camp Douglas American Legion.

Myron is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Michael Belcher, Yvonne (Steven) Skinner of Reedsburg, Thomas Belcher and Georgia Heller of Blanchardville, Rick (Sandy Olson) Belcher of Reedsburg, Linda and Jim Brueggeman of Tomah, Ted (Sue) Belcher of Mauston, Lisa (John) Yuknavage of Orlando, Fla., Maria (Jeff) Varnes of Hillsboro; 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ken (Marian) Belcher of Clifton; and a sister, Henrietta Mortensen of Pewaukee. He was preceded in death by his infant daughter, Jacqueline Marie; his parents; a brother, Cy Belcher; two sisters, Caroline "Elva" Crawford and Dorothy Polly; and a grandson, Dillon Yuknavage.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at noon at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon with Mike Amberg officiating, and burial of his urn at the Camp Douglas Village Cemetery will follow. Relatives and friends may call at the Hare Funeral Home on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon."
