183. Donald Earl WITT Jr. was born on 23 February 1948.¹² He died on 2 December 2015 at the age of 67 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰⁴

Obituary Notes: "Donald E. Witt Jr., 67, of Tunnel City passed away Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2015, at Tomah Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born Feb. 23, 1948, to Donald and Margaret (Betthauser) Witt.

Don worked many years as a carpenter at Roh Construction. He loved everything about the outdoors, especially bass and trout fishing, trapping, snowmobiling and walking in the woods. He was an avid hunter as well as gun collector. Don had quite the “sweet tooth” and especially loved his wife, Joyce’s, homemade fresh baked cookies. He will be dearly missed by many.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; mother, Margaret (William) Betthauser-Johnson; two daughters, Rhonda Pierce, and her children, Kaden and Mariah Pierce, and Lynn (Barry) Davis, and her children, MaKayla and Hunter Davis; siblings, David (Laurie,) Kevin (Joyce,) Carolyn and Craig; and close friend, Greg Swope. He is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and beloved friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald; and brothers, Terry Witt and Stephen Witt.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor Scott Mann will officiate."
