75. Roseanne BETTHAUSER was born on 6 May 1943 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.32,37 She died on 9 December 2006 at the age of 63 in Rochester, Olmstead County, MN.37

Obituary Notes: "Rosanne M. Langer, age 63, of Hustler, died on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2006, at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She was the daughter of Louis and Mae (Linehan) Betthauser and was born on May 6, 1943, in Tomah, WI. Rosanne graduated from Tomah High School in 1961 and then attended the Juneau County Teachers College in New Lisbon. She was united in marriage to Burdette “Bud” Langer on April 4, 1964, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church at Indian Creek. They then moved to the Hustler area, where they farmed and raised their four children. Rosanne enjoyed knitting, shopping, collecting Beanie Babies, Cranfest, and trips to Branson, MO. She was a teachers’ aide and a substitute teacher for many years. Rosanne was currently employed by the Farmers & Merchants Bank in Hustler. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and St. Anne’s Altar Society.

She is survived by her four children, John Langer of Camp Douglas, Jean (Chuck) Cook of Camp Douglas, Joanne (Brian) Porter of Pardeeville, and Jerry (Penny) Langer of Camp Douglas; and by four grandchildren, Erin Porter, Emily Porter, Joseph Cook and Hannah Cook. She is further survived by her brothers, Gerald (Carol) Betthauser of Tomah and Dan Betthauser of Tomah, and sisters, Therese (Richard) Schuh of Oakdale, Mary (Loren) Weiss of Tomah and Rita (Doug) Olson of Tomah. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bud on Dec. 8, 1996, and an infant sister, Joanne.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 13, at 11 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church in Camp Douglas with Fr. John Ofori-Domah presiding. Burial was in St. James Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was at the Hare Funeral Home in New Lisbon on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Friends and relatives also called at the church on Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of service."
