16. Ruth Mary GOETZKA was born on 1 July 1925 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.^7,19 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ She died on 14 April 2013 at the age of 87 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹

Obituary Notes: "Ruth M. Olson of Warrens, passed away Sunday, April 14, 2013, at her home. She was born to Alvin and Amanda (Biegel) Goetzka in the township of Lincoln, Monroe, County, Wis. Ruth was raised and lived her entire life in the Warrens area and enjoyed flowers and mowing her lawn.

She was united in marriage to Lyle Olson in St. Paul, Minn., January 1955. He preceded her in death. Ruth worked as a kitchen server for 20 plus years at the Department of Veterans Affairs, Tomah, before retiring.
She is survived by her son, Alan of Warrens; and other friends. Ruth was preceded in death her husband, Lyle; son, Les; grandson, Harold; parents, Alvin and Amanda; brother and sisters, Louise, Minnie, Irene, Melvin, and Mildred.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens. The Rev. Edwin Stigen will be officiating."
