Walter BIRR and Lilla Emilie "Lela" SOMMERFIELD were married before 1920.^16,18 (She was not living with her parents during the 1920 Census.) Lilla Emilie "Lela" SOMMERFIELD, daughter of Gustav Adolph Johann Rudolph SOMMERFELDT and Auguste Albertine Bertha Emilia WESTPHAL, was born on 25 June 1895 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,26,28 She was baptized on 21 July 1895 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ Lela appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁷ She died on 4 June 1986 at the age of 90 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^16,26 She was buried on 9 June 1986 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^26,27 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
