1. Joseph BLASCHKE was born about 1809 in Bohemia (Austria).¹ He appeared in the census in 1860 in Waterloo Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹ His surname was spelled "Bloska" and his occupation was "Farmer." He died before June 1870 at the age of 61.²

Joseph BLASCHKE and Theresia "Threse" SCHERCIER were married. Theresia "Threse" SCHERCIER was born in 1810 in Bohemia (Austria).^1,3 She appeared in the census in 1860 in Waterloo Township, Jefferson County, WI.¹ She appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.² She was living with her son Edward and his family, and was apparently a widow. Threse appeared in the census in 1880 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴ She was living with her son Edward and his family. She died in 1893 at the age of 83.³ She was buried in 1893 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.³ in the Clifton Township Cemetery, near the gravestones of her son Edward and his family.
