Julius Gustav Bernard BONGERS24 was born on 27 March 1863 in Grossgruenow, Preussen (Prussia).1,2,25,26 He emigrated about 1868 from Germany.3 He was confirmed on 25 March 1877 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.9 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Julius appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.1 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Works Rail Road." He died on 7 August 1897 at the age of 34 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2,25,27 He was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

(The month and date of her baptism are not recorded--only the year.) She appeared in the census in 1880 in Adrian Township, Monroe County, WI.1 Emma appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.10 Her household was next to that of her parents on Superior Avenue in the 1st Ward and her occupation was "Dressmaker, Store." She died on 22 July 1958 at the age of 89 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2,25 She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
