More likely, they were married in Missouri.) Alverda MURRAY, daughter of John MURRAY and Elizabeth URIE, was born on 8 August 1843 in Mansfield, Richland County, OH.16 (The 1870 Census listed her age as 36 and her birth place as Ohio.) She appeared in the census in 1870 in Nine Mile Prairie Township, Callaway County, MO.16 She died on 22 November 1879 at the age of 36 in Missouri.1 After she died, her children were sent to live with her sister, Susan, in Hunter Hot Springs, Montana.
