His occupation was listed as "Laborer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.9 Johann appeared in the census in 1880 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.5 He appeared in the census in 1900 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.6 He appeared in the census in 1910 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.10 Johann died on 19 April 1919 at the age of 82 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.3

Johann Ludwig "Louie" BREDLOW Jr. and Catherine UNKNOWN (BREDLOW) were married about 1860 in Preussen (Prussia).12 Catherine UNKNOWN (BREDLOW) was born about 1834 in Preussen (Prussia).5,13 Her given name was not clear in the passenger manifest when she emigrated, but it appears to be "Lad.." She emigrated on 15 December 1862 from Preussen (Prussia).13 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.9 Catherine appeared in the census in 1880 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.5 She was listed as "Ludewik" in the 1880 Census. She died before November 1895 at the age of 61.2,10 (Her husband was described as a widower when he married his second wife.)
