His occupation was listed as "Laborer." He appeared in the census in 1870 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ Johann appeared in the census in 1880 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ He appeared in the census in 1900 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.⁶ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ Johann died on 19 April 1919 at the age of 82 in Norwalk, Monroe County, WI.³

Johann Ludwig "Louie" BREDLOW Jr. and Catherine UNKNOWN (BREDLOW) were married about 1860 in Preussen (Prussia).¹² Catherine UNKNOWN (BREDLOW) was born about 1834 in Preussen (Prussia).^5,13 Her given name was not clear in the passenger manifest when she emigrated, but it appears to be "Lad.." She emigrated on 15 December 1862 from Preussen (Prussia).¹³ She appeared in the census in 1870 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ Catherine appeared in the census in 1880 in Sheldon Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ She was listed as "Ludewik" in the 1880 Census. She died before November 1895 at the age of 61.^2,10 (Her husband was described as a widower when he married his second wife.)

Emilie "Amelia" KREBSCHMAR, daughter of Gottlieb KREBSCHMAR and Katherine SCHULZ, was born on 25 September 1848 in Germany.^2,6,10 (Her maiden name was not clear in the marriage record for her and Ludwig Bredlow.)
