Otilie may have been the daughter of Rosa's sister, Auguste.) She emigrated on 27 March 1877 from Hamburg, Schleswig-Holstein Province, Preussen (Prussia).²⁵ She departed from Hamburg and had stops in Liverpool, England and Queenstown, Ireland before arriving in New York City on 14 April 1877 on the ship Wisconsin.
