Obituary Notes: "Robert A. Sesolak, age 68, of Tomah, WI, passed away Saturday, June 23, 2007, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. He was born Oct. 8, 1938, in Milwaukee, WI, to Alois A. & Lucille B. (Butterfuss) Sesolak.

He was united in marriage to Arliss A. Erdman on June 21, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomah. Robert enjoyed golfing, hunting, watching sports on TV and woodworking.

He is survived by his wife, Arliss; two sons, Brian (Bonnie) Sesolak of Waunakee and Jeff (Diane) Sesolak of Appleton; one daughter, Jill (Steve) Welch of Tomah; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alois and Lucille; and one son, Brent.

Funeral services were held Wednesday June 27, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary’'s Catholic Church in Tomah. The Very Rev. Father Steven J. Kachel officiated. Burial followed in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation was on Wednesday at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. The Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah assisted the family with arrangements."

Robert A. SESOLAK and Arliss A. ERDMAN were married on 21 June 1958 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.57 Arliss A. ERDMAN, daughter of Harold ERDMAN and Violet PUARIEA, was born on 31 January 1940 in Stevens Point, Portage County, WI.112 She died on 4 March 2013 at the age of 73 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.112

Obituary Notes: "Arliss A. Sesolak, 73, of Tomah passed away Monday, March 4, 2013, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse.
She was born Jan. 31, 1940, to Harold and Violet (Puariea) Erdman in Stevens Point, Wis.
She was united in marriage to Robert Sesolak on June 21, 1958, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Tomah. Arliss worked at the Tomah Care Center and the Tomah VA Medical Center for many years until her retirement. In her spare time she enjoyed, gardening, playing cards and gambling. She was an avid Packers and Badgers football fan. She also liked attending plays at the Tomah Area Community Theater. More than anything, she loved her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Brian (Bonnie) Sesolak of Waunakee, Wis., Jeff (Diane) Sesolak of Greenville, Wis.; and one daughter, Jill Welch of Tomah; grandchildren, Christi, Reid and Jayte Welch, Cody and Eli Sesolak, Carly, Julia and Alexanne Sesolak; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Raul, Dawson and Ezra; a brother, Harold (Beverly) Erdman of Port St. Lucy, Fla.; and a sister, Joann Benson of North Fort Meyers, Fla.; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; a son, Brent; a son-in-law, Steve Welch; and a brother-in-law, Burton Benson.
Arliss’ family would like to thank all of her dear friends who have helped her throughout her illness, and the staff at the Tomah Care Center and Gundersen Lutheran for the care given to her.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, at the St. Mary Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tomah. Monsignor Richard Gilles will officiate. Burial will follow in the St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Family and friends are invited for visitation from 4 until 7 p.m. with a 4 p.m. rosary today, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends are also invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the church."
