ROCHESTER was born on 10 December 1935.⁸⁴ She died on 31 August 2022 at the age of 86 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸⁴ Obituary Notes: "Velda Felton, age 86, of Tomah, WI, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2022, at Tomah Health Hospital. She was born December 10, 1935, to Harry and Sarah (Butterfuss) Rochester.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Thompson; and her sister Betty (Ronald) Westphal of Holmen. She was preceded in death by her husband, John.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022, 2:00 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Warren Mills Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home on Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Velda’s memory to the Tomah Care Center. The Torkelson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Velda L. ROCHESTER and John J. FELTON were married on 8 July 1955 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.^45,85 John J. FELTON, son of Leo Woodard FELTON and Flossie BICHEL, was born on 29 January 1931 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸⁵ He died on 31 August 2011 at the age of 80 in Eau Claire, Eau Claire Township, Eau Claire County, WI.⁸⁵

Obituary Notes: "John J. Felton, 80, of Holcombe and formerly of Warrens, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2011, at Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire. He was born Jan. 29, 1931, to Leo and Flossie (Bichel) Felton in Warrens. John served in the United States National Guard. He attended La Crosse Technical College and Milwaukee School of Engineering.

He owned and operated Felton Manufacturing in Warrens, specializing in equipment design for cranberry growers. He was united in marriage to Velda Rochester July 8, 1955, in La Crosse.

He is survived by his wife, Velda, of Holcombe; a daughter, Linda Thompson of Duluth, Minn.; a brother, Nello (Virginia) Felton of Tomah; other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Flossie.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011, at

1 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial followed in the Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens. Family and friends called for visitation Saturday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home."
