Obituary Notes: "Florence Delores Butterfuss, 94, of Saint Charles, IL, and formerly of Tomah, WI, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, at Tower Hill Nursing Home, South Elgin, IL. She was born Aug. 27, 1911, to Emil and Elsie (Dams) Schedler at Tomah. On Nov, 25, 1936, she was united in marriage to Raymond A. Butterfuss of Tomah, where they lived their entire married life. Florence attended St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran grade school and went on to Tomah High School where she graduated with the Class of 1930. In December of 1931, she began working at Schultz Brothers 5 & 10-Cent Store in Tomah. Florence worked there for 55 years, retiring in 1986. Florence loved her church, St. Paul Ev. Lutheran in Tomah. She was a wonderful homemaker and a great baker of sweets. She had lived in St. Charles, IL for five years. She had spent the last year in Tower Hill Nursing Home in South Elgin, IL, and had made many friends there. The family would like to thank Tower Hill for the wonderful care they have given her. Her heart has always been in Tomah. She will now be brought back to her final resting place in Tomah. She is survived by her son, Charles R. Butterfuss, and daughter-in-law Adrienne (Andy) Butterfuss of St. Charles, IL; three granddaughters, Candice of Farmersville, TX, Carrie of Yorkville, IL and Charlene of St. Charles, IL; two great-grandchildren, JJ of Farmersville, TX and Hannah of Yorkville, IL; one sister, Doris Futrell of Mayfield, KY; one brother-in-law, Norman and his wife Joyce Butterfuss of Warrens, WI; four sisters-in-law, Eunice Moseley of Warrens, WI, and Darlene (Ronnie) Tralmer, Harriet Butterfuss and Ruby Butterfuss, all of Tomah; many nieces and nephews from many parts of the country.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Elsie Schedler; her husband, Raymond; four sisters, Norma Prell, Irene Smith, Marion Sauer and Grace Strait; three brothers, John and two infant brothers; one grandson, Christopher Butterfuss; her father and mother-in-law, Adolph and Bertha Butterfuss; three sisters-in-law and their husbands, Edna (Chet) Burnstad, Lucille “Tootie” (Alois) Sesolak and Aldean (Paul) Felber; four brothers-in-law, Les (Erna) Butterfuss, Leonard (Betty) Butterfuss, Harold Butterfuss and Doyle Moseley.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 13, at 11 a.m. at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor Donald R. Buch will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah, and at the church on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of the services."

VINEY, was born on 13 February 1911 in Oakdale Township, Monroe County, WI.26,29,86,88 He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.26 He appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.35 Raymond died on 4 December 1992 at the age of 81 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.31,86,87,88 He was buried on 7 December 1992 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.88 in the Oak Grove Cemetery (Section OP, Block 6, Lot 63).
