But she was listed as age 18 when her family emigrated in 1883; that would indicate a birth year of about 1865. It is also possible that she had a younger older sister with the same name. She was baptized on 28 February 1858 in Sassenhagen, Kreis Saatzig, Regierungsbezirk Stettin, Pommern (Pomerania) Province, Preussen (Prussia).^4,20 She emigrated in May 1883 from Preussen (Prussia).⁷ Louise appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹¹ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶

Louise Bertha DAMEROW and Franz "Frank" LENZ were married about 1884.^11,27 According to the 1900 Census, they had 9 children, of whom all 9 were living at the time; at the time of the 1910 Census, they had 11 children, of whom all 11 were living.
