Colonel in the U.S. Army as a member of the General Staff Corps, Engineering. About 1956 he was in New York City, Kings County, NY.²⁹⁷ He was a Professor at New York University. He lived in Hampton Bays, Long Island, Suffolk County, NY in May 1956.²⁹⁷ Lloyd on 3 May 1956.²⁹⁷ was granted membership in The Empire State Society of the National Society, Sons of the American Revolution, based on him being a descendant of Moses Dewey.
