Leona Josephine DREWS was born on 3 June 1912 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^37,64 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²³ She died on 28 February 2003 at the age of 90 in Elroy, Plymouth Township, Juneau County, WI.⁶⁴ Leona was buried on 7 March 2003 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^30,64 in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Leona Josephine DREWS and Carl H. SCHINDLER were married on 18 May 1932 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^51,64 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. Carl H. SCHINDLER was born on 26 September 1905.⁴⁹ He died on 31 July 1980 at the age of 74.⁴⁹ He was buried on 4 August 1980 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.^30,49 in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Schindler, 72, of Wilton died Friday, Oct. 25, 2013, at his home. He was born Feb. 19, 1941, to Carl and Leona (Drews) Schindler in Wilton. He farmed in the town of Wellington on his parents' home farm. He did custom harvesting for several years for his neighbors. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers. Roger was a faithful member of St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church. He is survived by three brothers, LeRoy (Patricia) of Janesville, Charles (Beverly) of Austin, Minn., and Daryl (Gwen) of Tomah; and sister, Darlain (John) Ashbacher of Waukon, Iowa; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents; and a brother-in-law, Robert Muenchow. A funeral service will be held at noon Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at St. Matthew Ev. Lutheran Church. Pastor Steve Neuman will officiate. Burial will be in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Wilton. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 10:30 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the church." .
