Peter FRIESKE Sr. was born in 1809 in Schokken, Kreis Wongrowitz, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,2,3,4 (The 1870 Census listed his age as 60, indicating a birth year of about 1810; the 1880 listed his age as 67, indicating about 1813.) He emigrated in 1865 from Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,5 (His emigration year is listed as 1865 in an article in the Monroe County Heritage Book. However, the census records for several of his children list their year as 1869, so that was probably when he emigrated, too.) He was Lutheran and was one of the original founders of St. Mathews Lutheran Church, South Ridge. after 1865 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI. Peter appeared in the census in 1870 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.1,3 in South Ridge. His occupation was "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1880 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.2 (His surname was listed as "Frisco.") He died in 1898 at the age of 89 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.1

Peter FRIESKE Sr. and Anna Carolina "Caroline" CONRAD were married on 15 December 1839 in Schokken, Kreis Wongrowitz, Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).1,4,6 Anna Carolina "Caroline" CONRAD4,7, daughter of Johann CONRAD and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (CONRAD), was born in 1816 in Preussen (Prussia).2,3 (The 1870 Census listed her age as 40, indicating a birth year of 1830; that was an error.) She emigrated in 1865 from Preussen (Prussia).1 She appeared in the census in 1870 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.3 Caroline appeared in the census in 1880 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.2 (Her name may have been Anna Carolina Conrad, who married a Peter Friske in Skoki (Schocken) in Posen Province. The ages in that marriage were 31 for the groom and 23 for the bride, which would not be a fit for the groom but would be a fit for the bride.)

He emigrated in 1869 from Preussen (Prussia).6

(His parents' names were not listed in his Confirmation Record.) He emigrated in 1869 from Preussen (Prussia).11 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.3 William was confirmed on 24 March 1872 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.8 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.2 He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Working in Brick Yard." He appeared in the census in 1900 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.10 He was living with his sister, Minnie, and her family and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." He was not married.

William appeared in the census in 1910 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.11 He was a "Hired Man" in the household of John and Alma Thurow and his occupation was "Farm Laborer, Working Out." He was 52 and not married.

He died in 1923 at the age of 66.9 He was buried in 1923 in Wilton, Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.9,12 in the St. Paul's German Lutheran Cemetery.
