46. Wilhelmine "Minnie" FRIESKE was born in January 1880 in Wisconsin.2 She appeared in the census in June 1880 in Wellington Township, Monroe County, WI.2

Wilhelmine "Minnie" FRIESKE and Daniel "Dan" GOLDBECK were married.10,52,53,54 (She was not listed with her parents in the June 1900 Census. There was a Minnie Friske living in Oshkosh as a "Servant" with a private family, born in May 1880 in Wisconsin, and with parents born in Germany; that may have been her.)

They lived on a farm in Kinney Valley and had nine children.

(Her gravestone cannot be located. She is not listed in the cemetery records of Mount Hope Cemetery in Sparta, where her husband is buried.) Daniel "Dan" GOLDBECK, son of Christoph Herman GOLDBECK and Auguste Bertha KLUGE, was born on 9 May 1873 in Posen Province, Preussen (Prussia).10,55 (The 1900 Census listed his birth date as June 1873 and his age as 27.) He emigrated after May 1873 from Preussen (Prussia).10 He appeared in the census in 1900.10,11 He was a "Boarder" in the household of D. L. and Martha Brown and his occupation was "Farm Laborer."

(There is a Dan Goldbeck, age 38, born in Germany, listed in the 1910 Census records for the village of Tomah. He had been married to "Mary" for 4 years, and it was her second marriage. That may have been him.)

(He cannot be located in the 1920 or 1930 Census in Wisconsin.) Dan died in 1953 at the age of 80.56 He was buried in 1953 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.12,56 in the Mount Hope Cemetery.
