Anna Catherine FROHMADER was born on 8 February 1826 in Garmersreuth, Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.^5,10,11 She emigrated in 1844 from Germany.⁵ She died in 1866 at the age of 40 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,11 Anna was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,43,44 in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.

Anna Catherine FROHMADER and Johann Christopher "John" GRAF were married in 1848.^5,11,45 Johann Christopher "John" GRAF was born in 1813 in Bayern (Bavaria) Province, German Confederation.^5,10,45 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.⁹ He appeared in the census in June 1880 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ His occupation was listed as "Farmer." His household consisted of John, Caroline, their children, Reeka, Frank, Michael and John; John's wife, Augusta; and a granddaughter Ella, age 8. It is not known who were the parents of Ella. Johann died in 1882 at the age of 69.⁵ He was buried in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.^5,43,44 in the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery.
