His surname was listed as "Burnsted.") John appeared in the census in 1870 in Trempealeau Township, Trempealeau County, WI.24 His occupation was listed as "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1880 in Trempealeau Township, Trempealeau County, WI.26 His occupation was listed as "Farmer." He appeared in the census in 1900 in Trempealeau Township, Trempealeau County, WI.25 His occupation was listed as "Farmer." John died on 4 June 1909 at the age of 76 in Galesville, Trempealeau County, WI.5
