93. Louise M. CROUCH was born on 22 May 1936 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.¹³³ She died on 28 December 2022 at the age of 86 in Madison, Dane County, WI.¹³³ Obituary Notes: "Louise M Degler, age 86 of Sun Prairie WI; Formally from Tomah WI, passed away December 28, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison WI. She was born May 22nd, 1936 in Sparta, WI to Willis and Mabel (Ferries) Crouch.

Louise went to Sparta Schools up to the 8th grade and left to take care of her father and siblings. She had lived most of her earlier life in Tomah, Warrens, and the Valley Junction area until she adventured down towards the Madison, WI area.

She said her biggest milestone was being able to help do chores and helping out her parents. Louise was also very proud of having her children and volunteering at St. Mary's hospital in
Madison, WI, where she had over 22,000 hours of volunteering.

She is survived by her sister Ruthie Gruetzmacher of Tomah, WI. She is also survived by her 4 daughters, Judy (Tom) Parks of Sunrise Beach MO, Joyce (Richard) Bracken of Columbus WI,
June Moser of Fairbury IL, Susan (Ray) Erbs of Sun Prairie WI; and 1 son Otto (Roxann) Degler, Jr. of Juneau WI. Along with her 28 grandchildren; Angela (Bobby) Houser, Danny (Kim) Bracken, SamanthaParks, Dakota Parks, Tommy Parks, Rebecca Green, Liz (Craig) Green, Mike (Kerri) Bracken,Keith (Kayla) Bracken, Otto (Melanie) Degler III, Bradley (Christina) Degler, Craig (Cassie) Degler, Dustin Moser, Joseph Eldridge, Crystal Franklin, Stephanie (Matthew) Pederson,Heather (Geoff) Eldridge, Natasha (Mike) Dunston.

She was also blessed with 42 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father Willis, mother Mabel, 4 brothers; William, Vernon, Willis, Chester, her sister Julia, and son-in-law, Richard Moser.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday December 31, 2022 12:00 P.M. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St. Tomah. Pastor Claudia Deede will officiate. Burial will be at the Wood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 11:00 am until time of service. Louise M. CROUCH and Otto Jerome DEGLER were married.¹³³ Otto Jerome DEGLER, son of Gustave Otto DEGLER and Susie L. GRANT, was born on 10 March 1931 in Monroe County, WI.⁴⁰ He died in 2002 at the age of 71 in Forest, Livingston County, IL.¹⁰¹
