12. Emil W. GOETZKA was born on 11 November 1902 in Illinois.^10,15 (His obituary listed his birth place as Illinois, but the 1910 Census listed it as Wisconsin.) He appeared in the census in 1910 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.¹⁰ He appeared in the census in 1920 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.¹¹ Emil appeared in the census in 1930 in Knapp Township, Jackson County, WI.²⁵ He was living with his brother Carl and his occupation was "Laborer, General Farm." He died on 12 March 1999 at the age of 96 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.¹⁵ He was buried on 16 March 1999 in Millston, Jackson County, WI.¹⁵ in the Brookside Cemetery.
