69. Robert Clarence GREENO²⁶ was born on 16 May 1918 in Monroe County, WI.^11,29 He died on 13 August 1975 at the age of 57 in Cataract, Little Falls Township, Monroe County, WI.^28,29

Robert Clarence GREENO and Elsie R. RYCKMAN were married on 26 October 1937 in Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, WI.²³ Elsie R. RYCKMAN, daughter of Angus RYCKMAN and Lillian P. JEFFERS, was born on 31 December 1918 in Wisconsin.^23,76 She graduated in 1936 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²³ from Tomah High School She died on 20 August 2003 at the age of 84 in Sparta, Sparta Township, Monroe County, WI.²³

Obituary Notes: "Elsie R. Greeno was born on Dec. 31, 1918, to Angus and Lillian (Jeffers) Ryckmen. She grew up in the Tomah area and graduated from Tomah High School in 1936.

She married Robert Clarence Greeno on Oct. 26, 1937, in Milwaukee. After marriage, they lived in the Monroe County area. In their later years, they lived in the Cataract area. Robert passed away Aug. 13, 1975.

Elsie became a resident of the Morrow Memorial Home in July of 2002. She was a past member of the Cataract United Methodist Church, a member of the Sparta United Methodist Church and the Lois Circle, the Morrow Memorial Home Auxiliary, and R.S.V.P.

She passed away Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2003, at Franciscan Skemp Healthcare, Sparta at the age of 84 years, 7 months, and 19 days. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert L. Greeno; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Margaret Griffin and Mildred Purdy.

She is survived by two sons, Keith W. Greeno of Tomah and Kenneth W. (Donna) Greeno of Columbia Heights, Minn; a daughter, Mary (Roger) Bosman of Sparta; 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 23, 2002, at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Sparta with Rev. David Carlson officiating. Cynthia Wise was the organist.

Burial was in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Cataract, with the following serving as pallbearers: honorary pallbearers: Mark Greeno, Donald Herr; active pallbearers: Harley Griffin, Duane Griffin, Lloyd Griffin, Bob Greeno, Ryan Buswell, Seth Greeno, and John McNutt.

The Lanham-Miller Funeral Home, Sparta, assisted the family with funeral arrangements."
Elsie was buried on 23 August 2003 in Cataract, Little Falls Township, Monroe County, WI.²³ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
