106. Bonnie Fern BERNETTE was born on 11 November 1943 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.²³ She died on 11 March 2007 at the age of 63 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.²³

Obituary Notes: "Bonnie Fern Murphy, 63, of Necedah, died Sunday, March 11, 2007, at FranciscannSkemp Healthcare Center in La Crosse. She was born Nov. 11, 1943, to Willard and Madge (Greeno) Bernette at Black River Falls. She worked for Farnam Manufacturing in Necedah for 17 years, retiring in 2003. She enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and games of chance.

She is survived by two sons, Gregory (Ellen) Wadel of Plainfield and Steven (Kelly) Wadel of Chili; three daughters, Kathy Nelson of Bancroft, Crystal Wadel of Neshkoro and Melissa (Patrick) Kilbey of Friendship; two brothers, Stanley (Rita) Bernette of Sparta and Randy (Doris) Bernette of Tomah; a sister, Elaine (Brent) Brudos of La Crosse; 15 grandchildren, Brittney, Derek, Bianca, Alexis, Ryan, Shianna, Haley, Jared, Ashley, Shannon, Jessica, Jazmyn, Xavier, Hunter and Brittanie; special friend Kenn Murphy and his children, William Murphy of Necedah and Virginia Murphy of La Crosse. She is further survived by four aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Conrad Wadel, and her second, husband Robert Winnie.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 17, at 11 a.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau St., Tomah. Pastor Edwin W. Stigen will officiate. Burial will be at a later date in Brookside Cemetery in the Town of Millston, Jackson County.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the services."

She was buried on 17 March 2007 in Millston, Jackson County, WI.²³ in the Brookside Cemetery.
