When the school year was over, she then went to live with grandparents, James B. and Anna Vandervort on their farm near Tomah. Also living there at this time was Willie, a "State School boy" being raised by James and Anna. Pansy lived with James B. and Anna VDV for 3 years or until she was a senior in high school. At that time she quit and took a job in the employee's dining room at the Indian School in Tomah. Later she tried to test out of school but had forgotten too much, so she returned to her job in the dining room. Later that year she married Leo Edgar Griffin. Francis M.
