404. Isaac GRIGGS was born on 29 November 1788 in Plymouth, Litchfield County, CT.¹⁹⁸ Between 1826 and 1827 he was a businessman in Oneida County, NY.¹⁹⁸

Isaac was a pensioner of the War of 1812. He went into business in the Village of Laquet and stayed there until 1827. He moved to Youngville, PA in the spring of 1837, and then to Johnson, Trumble, OH in 1838, where he lived for 15 years. He moved to Rock County, WI in 1853, and in the spring of 1861 he moved to Juneau County, WI. On 15 Nov 1866, he moved to Iowa Falls, IA. He died on 13 February 1873 at the age of 84 in Lima, Pepin County, WI.¹⁹⁸ Isaac was buried on 15 February 1873 in North Johnstown, Rock County, WI.¹⁹⁸ in the North Johnstown Cemetery.

Isaac GRIGGS and Mary GRAY were married on 11 June 1826.¹⁹⁸ Mary GRAY, daughter of Robert Guilderland GRAY and Susannah LAGRANGE, was born on 17 June 1802 in New York.¹⁹⁸ She died on 29 December 1877 at the age of 75 in Johnstown, Rock County, WI.¹⁹⁸ She was buried in North Johnstown, Rock County, WI.¹⁹⁸ in the North Johnstown Cemetery.

Isaac GRIGGS and Mary GRAY had the following children:

571	vi.	Berkley GRIGGS was born in 1840.¹⁹⁸ He died on 12 October 1908 at the age of 68.¹⁹⁸
572	vii.	Cassius GRIGGS was born in 1843 in Clarkson, Monroe County, NY.¹⁹⁸ He died on 17 June 1862 at the age of 19 in Alexandria, Alexandria County, VA.¹⁹⁸ He died in the Civil War.
573	viii.	Jerome GRIGGS was born in 1846.¹⁹⁸ He died in 1846 at the age of 0.¹⁹⁸
