HEDDING and Luella Hazel MEE, was born on 5 September 1932 in Monroe County, WI.28,41,101,102,103 He graduated in 1950 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.104 from Tomah High School. He died on 4 May 2000 at the age of 67 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.41,101,103

Obituary Notes: "Leland L. Hedding, 67, of rural Tomah, passed away Thursday, May 4, 2000, at Tomah Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 5, 1932 to Louis T. and Luella H. (Mee) Hedding. Leland grew up and lived his whole life on the family farm at Bear Creek in the Township of Tomah. He attended Bear Creek School for eight years and graduated from Tomah High School in 1950.

He was united in marriage on May 2, 1970 to Roseanne Wells, who preceded him in death in 1980. On Aug. 8. 1981, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Batten at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Shennington. In 1994, Leland retired from farming. He enjoyed life and had a great love for hunting, fishing, watching wildlife and gardening. He was also well knows for his extraordinary ability as an excellent speaker and debater.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie of rurral Tomah; two daughters, Jodi L. Hedding of La Crosse and Kelli A. Hedding of Fort Dodge, Iowa; two sons, Trevor L. Hedding of Tomah and Christopher W. Hedding of Cambellsport; two sisters, Leota A. (George) Hoagland of Yacca Valley, Calif., and Lorene L (David) Wendricks of Madison; a niece, Michelle (Kyle) Bedalov of Milwaukee; and a nephew, Michael Wendricks of Milwaukee. He is further survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife.

Funeral services were held today (Monday), May 8 at 11 am from the First United Methodist Church, Tomah. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery."
