Robert Eugene SHAW and Lillian R. STRATTON were married on 20 September 1958 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ Lillian R. STRATTON, daughter of Leo R. STRATTON and Frieda L. JONES, was born on 2 June 1942 in Black River Falls, Jackson County, WI.¹⁹ She died on 30 December 2005 at the age of 63 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹

Obituary Notes: "Lillian R. (Stratton) Shaw, age 63, of Tomah, WI, passed away on Friday, Dec. 30, 2005, at Tomah Memorial Hospital. She was born June 2, 1942, in Black River Falls, WI, to Leo R. and Freida L. (Jones) Stratton. She was united in marriage to Robert E. Shaw, Sept. 20, 1958.

Lillian was a faithful member of the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Tomah. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and enjoyed hunting, gardening, reading and bowling. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Randy Shaw of Tomah, Jeff (Sue) Shaw of Lyndon Station, Curt Shaw of Sparta, Cris (Mike) Suhr of Wilton and Cathy Noe of Taylorsville, NC; grandchildren, Dillon, Sarah, Mike, Pat (Beth), Jessie, Gene, Kelly, Brad (Jodi), Bobby, Shannon, Casey, Jena, Aaron, Allen, Nick and Casey; great-grandchildren, Ben, Josh, Sydney, Katlyn, Madysen, Jade, Remington, Tory, Justin, Alissa and Carter; brothers, Bob Stratton of Mt. Dora, FL, Ben (Anna) Stratton of Hartford, Bruce (Dawn) Stratton of Windemere, FL, Allen (Roxanne) Stratton of Apoka, FL; sisters, Louise (Cliff) Watkins of Thayer, MS, LaVon (Tom) Dearmin of Lyle, MN, Monica (Paul) Hanson of Port Washington, Cheryl Stratton of Minneapolis, MN, Janice (LaMont) Winkelman of Arkansas, Nona (Rodney) Cullver of Coppell, TX, Connie Stratton of Minneapolis, MN, Rita (Rick) DuBose’ of Midolothian, TX, and Sue (Dave) Hartmann of Tirane, Albania.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Freida; her husband, Bob; a son, Timothy; brothers, Leo Stratton Jr. and David Stratton, and a sister, Dorothy.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Tomah. Pastor Ben Stratton and Pastor Paul Hanson officiated. Private burial took place at the Wood Cemetery. Visitation was on Monday, Jan. 2, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Tomah and on Tuesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements."

He was born on June 2, 1960, to Robert and Lillian (Stratton) Shaw. He attended Tomah High School. Tim worked as a mechanic and was currently employed as a transcriber of Braille. He is survived by his mother, Lillian of Tomah; his children, Sarah Shaw of Tomah, Michael Shaw of La Crosse, Patrick (Beth) Shaw of Elroy, Jessica Shaw of Tomah and Gene Shaw of Elroy; grandchildren Sydney, Ben and Josh; brothers and sisters Randy Shaw of Tomah, Jeff (Sue) Shaw of Lyndon Station, Cristine (Michael) Suhr of Wilton, Cathleen Noe of Taylorsville, NC, and Curtis Shaw of Tomah; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, in 1998. Funeral services were held Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at 2 p.m. at the Lighthouse Assembly of God Church in Tomah. Benjamin Stratton officiated. Burial followed at the Wood Cemetery. Visitation was on Wednesday, Jan. 26, from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Family and friends also visited on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the church. The Torkelson Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
