Ronald Glenn SHAW and Arlene Lois SOPINSKI were married.¹⁹ Arlene Lois SOPINSKI, daughter of Frank SOPINSKI and Hertha FIRCH, was born on 28 March 1935.¹¹⁸ She died on 2 November 2015 at the age of 80 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.¹¹⁸

Obituary Notes: "Arlene Lois (Sopinski) Shaw, 80, of Tomah passed away Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse, due to kidney failure. She was born March 28, 1935, to Frank and Hertha (Firch) Sopinski.

Arlene enjoyed cooking, watching horror movies, gardening, fishing, hunting, feeding and watching birds and spending time with her loving family.

She is survived by her children, Lynda Irwin of Three Rivers, Mich., Daniel Shaw of Tomah, and Roxanne Bell of Tomah; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Geraldine (Eugene) Shaver of Port Washington, Wis.; a special friend, Wanda Sawyer; many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Glen; her parents, Frank and Hertha; sisters, Barb Szujewski, Judy Paulsen, Joan Ann Hayes and Carol Knueppel; great-granddaughters, Ella Irwin Hall and Kaelin April Richmond.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. today, Nov. 5, 2015, at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. A private family burial will be held at a later date."
