174. Patricia A. "Pat" LAMB was born on 17 December 1931.¹⁹ She died on 13 May 2007 at the age of 75 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.¹⁹

Obituary Notes: "Patricia A. Holmes, age 75, of Tomah, WI, passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2007, at the Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse. She was born on December 17, 1931, and raised by her grandmother, Margaret Emily Lamb. In 1952, she was married to Ed Brandon. She was later united in marriage to Lyle Holmes in 1956.

Pat was active with the White Horse Ranch in Naper, NE, and through that she traveled the Unites States, Canada and Cuba with the Shrine Circus. Living her entire life in Tomah, WI, she owned the City Cab Company, drove school bus for the Tomah School District for 17 years and worked at the VA Hospital as a Nurses Aide for 18 years. She a founding member of the Tomah Saddle Club. Pat also drove bus for Handishop Industries and was a driver for Monroe County Senior Citizens. Along with raising her family, most of her time was dedicated to the care of her horses. She was an avid horse enthusiast, participating in many area festivals and competitions.

She is survived by her children, David Brandon of Prague, Czechoslovakia, James (Valerie) Holmes, John (Nancy Westpfahl) Holmes and Joseph (Kathleen) Holmes, all of Tomah; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three step grandchildren and four step great-grandchildren; a brother, Roger (Linda) Bristol of Bayfield, WI; two sisters, Emily Fuller of Minneapolis, MN, and Edna (Jess) Wentland of North Branch, MN; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie, and her husband, Lyle; and her grandmother, Margaret Emily Lamb.

Funeral services were today (Thursday), May 17, at 11 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home. Pastor Daren DeFord officiated. Burial followed in the Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Visitation was on Wednesday, May 16, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. and again today from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the Torkelson Funeral Home."
She was buried on 17 May 2007 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
