Leone Adell HOAG⁵¹ was born on 26 October 1932 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^19,59 She died on 25 July 2022 at the age of 89 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴⁷ Obituary Notes: "Leone A. (Hoag) Gehrke, age 89, of Warrens, Wisconsin, passed away Monday, July 25, 2022, surrounded by her loving family at Touch of Home. She was born October 26, 1932, to Dan and Luella (Prielipp) Hoag and was a lifelong resident of Warrens.

Leone was united in marriage to Harold Gehrke on August 26, 1950. She spent her working years at Marten’s Floor Covering in Tomah and at Olson’s Cranberry Marsh during Fall harvest. She enjoyed camping, gardening, cooking, going to the casino and polka music. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children, Lynn (Marshall) Kuehl of Warrens, WI, Sue (Jon) Steen of Ridgeway, WI and Faye (Greg) Marshall of Black River Falls, WI, grandchildren, Terry (Tanya) Lamb, Kristin (Jim) Moeller, Seth Lamb, Hugh (Lani) Nauman, Ryan Burkhalter, Annetra (Pete) Muehlenkamp, Jarrod (Diane) Ebert and Lindsay (Don Semann) Ebert, 17 great grandchildren, brothers, Dan (Janet) Hoag of Oakdale, WI, Lester (Judy) Hoag of Oakdale, WI, Gay (Kathy) Hoag of Tomah, WI, sisters, Lorna Schamens of Sparta, WI, Elaine McCaskey of Iowa, Lois (Doc) Miller of Sparta, WI, Jean (Duane) Jacob of Tomah, WI and Sandy (Dave) Wagner of Tomah, WI, sister-in-law, Rose (Bundick) Hoag of IL, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dan and Luella, her husband, Harold, a brother, Harley Hoag, granddaughter, Jennifer Burkhalter, brothers-in-law, Jim McCaskey and Marlow Schamens.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, 11:00 a.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Burial will follow in the Warren Mills Cemetery, Warrens, WI. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. A luncheon will follow the burial at the Log Cabin in Warrens. "

Leone Adell HOAG and Harold Thomas GEHRKE were married on 26 August 1950.^59,101,148 Harold Thomas GEHRKE⁵¹, son of William Frederick GEHRKE and Josephine Virginia POLUGI, was born on 2 August 1928 in Cook County, IL.^45,146,149 He appeared in the census in 1940 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰⁴ He graduated in 1946 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^149,150 from Tomah High School. Harold died on 15 January 2007 at the age of 78 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.⁴⁵ He was buried on 19 January 2007 in Warrens, Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.⁴⁵ in the Warren Mills Cemetery.

Leone Adell HOAG and Harold Thomas GEHRKE had the following children:
