109. Vance Lee EVANS (`) (~) was born on 17 December 1956.138 He died on 27 April 2010 at the age of 53 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.138

Obituary Notes: "Vance Lee Evans, 53, of Tomah, passed away in his home Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was born Dec. 17, 1956, in Tomah, to the late Van and Vila (Heser) Evans. He was raised on the family farm in Shennington and spent 30 years in Poplar Grove, IL, where he recently retired from the Chrysler Corporation in Belvidere.

He was co-owner of the Sportsman’s Bar in Tomah and after retirement from Chrysler was devoting his time to the business. Vance loved his family, deer hunting, fast cars and motorcycles and was planning on building a new home in Tomah and was looking forward to shooting pool in a new pool league. He was always the life of the party with his tall can of Coors Light and will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his sons, Andrew Moore of Camp Douglas and Travis Lee (Molly) of Belvidere, IL, and a daughter Erica, also of Belvidere, IL; brothers, Verland (Pauline) of Viroqua, Vernon “Whitey” (Linda) of Tomah and Victor (Marlea) of Tomah, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was the proud grandfather of Zaynen James, Zyrin Ray and Zevin Lee Evans.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Valdon, and a sister, Vergean.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 2, at 4 p.m. at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah. Pastor Jay Cronholm will officiate. Family and friends are invited for visitation Sunday from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the Torkelson Funeral Home in Tomah."
