Lucille ROSENOW was born on 13 September 1910 in Monroe County, WI.9,13,45 She appeared in the census in 1920 in Greenfield Township, Monroe County, WI.9 She appeared in the census in 1930 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.18 Lucille died on 31 October 2006 at the age of 96 in Madison, Dane County, WI.45

Obituary Notes: "Lucile Irene (Rosenow) McCloskey, age 96, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2006, in the comfort of her home. She was born September 13, 1910, near Tomah, the daughter of Paul and Edna (Heser) Rosenow.
She came to Madison in 1929, when she was employed as a medical secretary at the Wisconsin Memorial Hospital. She married Francis McCloskey on September 4, 1935. Her favorite hobbies included sewing crafts, playing the organ, camping, playing cards and being a doting mother.
Survivors include five children, Ronald (Connie Marty) of Denver, Colo., David Francis (Patricia Herling) of Sun Prairie, Dorothy of McFarland, LuAnne (Kenneth) Nelson of Simpsonville, S.C. and Michael (Joane Kaney) of Madison; 10 grandchildren, Geoffrey McCloskey of Sun Prairie, Mark McCloskey of DeForest, Kelly Clark of Sun Prairie, Meg Baron of Denver, Colo., Paul McCloskey of Englewood, Colo., Reed McCloskey of Littleton, Colo., Anna Swenson of Greer, S.C., Sara Ritchie of Fountain Inn, S.C., Anthony Eckel of Beaver Dam and Molly Borreson of Columbus; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Lucile was preceded in death by her husband, Francis on January 22, 1995; her daughter, Marianna; her parents; and a brother, LaVern. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, November 3, 2006, at St. Bernard Catholic Church."
