She was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.

Emmaretta F. "Nettie" HILLIKER and Francis M. "Frank" BROWN were married on 24 October 1889 in Monroe County, WI.^3,17,46,47 Francis M. "Frank" BROWN, son of Solomon BROWN and Helen CROUCH, was born in October 1864 in Wisconsin.^{12,15,46,48,49} (He may have been born in Oct 1864.) He appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁷ His household was on Monroe Street and his occupation was "Laborer." He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁸ His household consisted of Frank, age 57; his wife, Sarah, age 56; their grandson, Lyle, age 5; and Sarah's mother, Anna McIntyre Vandervort, age 73. Frank died on 11 November 1940 at the age of 76 in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.^12,46,50 (He may have died 24 Nov 1940.) He was buried in La Grange Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ in the LaGrange Township Cemetery.
