She was born Aug. 6, 1923, in Tunnel City, WI, to Alvah and Tressie (Goff) Kennedy. After high school, Lola graduated from the Spencerian Business College with a typist specialty. She was married at Kingsley Methodist Church in Milwaukee on April 15, 1945, to Edward Wabrowetz. She is survived by her husband, Ed Wabrowetz of Shell Lake; two sons, Kurt (Cathy) Wabrowetz of Tomah and Kent (Bernadette) Wabrowetz of Shell Lake; five grandchildren, Karen, Scott, Adam, Emma and Luke; three great-grandchildren, Jimmy, Jake and Landon; one brother, Harley (Helen) Kennedy of Tomah, and one sister, Ruth Cartner of Madison. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 5, at Shell Lake United Methodist Church with Rev. Charles Wendt officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Spooner. Friends may call from one hour prior to services Monday at the church. Funeral arrangements were handled by Pockat Funeral Home of Shell Lake."
