She was buried on 7 November 1951 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.9,21,23 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Violet HOWIE and Johann Friedrich "John" BREHMER Jr. were married on 28 August 1917.19,24 Their two children died as infants. They19,24 were divorced before October 1925.23 Johann Friedrich "John" BREHMER Jr., son of Johann Friedrich Wilhelm BREHMER and Dorothea Sophia PERGANDE, was born on 7 August 1870 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.6,8,19,24,25,26 (The 1880 Census listed his age as 7, which means he would have been born about 1873. That was erroneous.) (His surname was spelled "Brahmer" in his obituary and in a newspaper notice regarding the settlement of his estate.) He was baptized on 13 September 1870 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.26 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.6 John was confirmed on 29 March 1885 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.26 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.13 He was living with his parents. He was Lutheran in 1900 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.27 and was listed on the Membership Roster of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. John appeared in the census in 1910 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.8 He was living in the household of his brother Frank. He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 His household was located at 1213 Superior Avenue in the 2nd Ward. His occupation was not clear, but appears to be "Bartender." He died on 30 October 1925 at the age of 55.19,24 Obituary Notes: "John Brahmer was born in the town of Ridgeville, August 7, 1870 and died Oct. 30, 1925 at the age of 55 years and 2 months and 23 days. On April 14, 1901, he was married at Ridgeville to Lillie Rassow, town of Tomah, who preceded him in death in March 1907. To them were born one child, Miles, now living in Beloit, Wis.

On August 28, 1917 he was married to Violet Howie of Tomah. To this union were born two children, both of whom passed away in infancy.

Besides his wife and son, of near kin that remains, there are two sisters, Mrs. Gust Hoffman of Lane S.D., and Mrs. August Affeldt of Fessender, N. D., and two brothers, Frank and Henry, both of Tomah."
