1. Karl "Carl" KUPPER was born on 10 November 1832 in Preussen (Prussia).1,2 (The 1880 Census does not include their daughter Caroline.) Before 1865 he was a Shoemaker in Germany. He emigrated about 1865 from Preussen (Prussia). Carl was Lutheran in 1872 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.3 He was one of the first seventeen charter members who formed St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. He appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.4 His occupation was listed as "shoemaker." He died on 28 January 1888 at the age of 55 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 Carl was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Karl "Carl" KUPPER and Helena "Helen" LABUDE were married in Preussen (Prussia).1,5 Helena "Helen" LABUDE, daughter of (Unknown) LABUDE and (Unknown) UNKNOWN (LABUDE), was born in 1834 in Preussen (Prussia). (Her parents may have been Gottfried and Hannah Labude.)

Nicholaus Gustav "Gust" KUPPER was born on 10 February 1863 in Preussen (Prussia).4,5 He was confirmed on 21 March 1875 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.5 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. He died in 1922 at the age of 59 in Warren, Idaho County, ID.1
