Obituary Notes: "Fred A. Neitzel died Wednesday, February 4, 1981, in the Tomah Care Center. He was born June 17, 1889, in Jackson County to Herman and Augusta (Achtenberg) Neitzel. He married Bertha Mails on October 15, 1913.

Prior to his retirement in 1951, he had been a city mail carrier in Tomah.

Survivors are two sons, Harold of Tomah and Marvin of Black River Falls; one daughter, Mrs. Thomas (Leola) Keene of Tomah; 11 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren. His wife preceded him in death on July 10, 1962.

Services were Saturday at 2 P.M. in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tomah. The Rev. Kenneth Gast officiated and burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery. The Ninneman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements." He was buried on 7 February 1981 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^67,95,96 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
