81. Beulah May PADDOCK¹³ was born on 10 April 1920 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^50,82,93 She died on 18 May 2013 at the age of 93 in La Crosse, La Crosse County, WI.⁹³

Obituary Notes: "Beulah M. Wood, 93, of Tomah,  passed away Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Mayo Healthcare Center in La Crosse. She was born, the first of seven children to John and Bernice (James) Paddock, April 10, 1920, at her aunt’s home in Tomah, Wis.

She was united in marriage to Addison “Mike” Wood Nov. 29, 1939. Beulah lived in Paradise Valley most of her married life. In 1966, she went to work at Smrekar’s Restaurant in Millston, to fill in over deer hunting season. She retired 20 years later. Beulah was an avid reader and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Every Sunday morning when she was physically able, you would find Beulah in a church pew. Everyone she knew enjoyed being around her. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her children, Ronald (Sumang) Wood of Box Elder, S.D., Marie (Glenn) Caskey of Racine, Wis., and Charlie Wood of Box Elder; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandsons; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bernice; her husband, Addison “Mike” Wood; a daughter, Carol Wood; her brothers, Frank, James, Kenneth and Harold Paddock; and sisters, Lena Sherwood and Joy Wood.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, May 23, 2013, at the Church of Nazerene in Tomah. Pastor Jim Leston will officiate. Burial will follow in the Brookside Cemetery, Millston."

Beulah May PADDOCK and Addison Joseph "Mike" WOOD were married on 29 November 1939.⁹⁴ Addison Joseph "Mike" WOOD, son of Ernest Emmet "Dick" WOOD and Gladys SHAW, was born on 4 February 1920 in Monroe County, WI.⁸² He died before 2011 at the age of 91 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^79,95 He was buried in Millston Township, Jackson County, WI.⁷⁹ in the Millston Cemetery.
