He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹² He was living with his parents and his occupation was "Farm Laborer." FAULKNER, was born on 27 September 1885 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,63,68 She died on 28 November 1918 at the age of 33 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^8,60,68

Obituary Notes: "Mrs. Fred Marten, aged 33 years, died at her farm home in the town of Tomah of pneumonia and Spanish influenza, on Thanksgiving evening, Nov. 28. The funeral was from the house Monday morning, Dec. 2nd, and was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah.

Deceased is survived by a husband, a son Floyd, aged 9, a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Methven Robertson; two brothers, David and James Robertson and a sister Elsie, Mrs. Roy Baumgarten."
