He was baptized in the Lutheran Faith on June 9, 1944. He was confirmed at St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church on May 25, 1958. He graduated from Goodhue High School in 1962. He was united in marriage to Sharen Edmiston May 21, 1997, at Sparta. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for Gerke Excavating, Tomah. He is survived by his wife, Sharen of Tomah; two sons, Jason (Tera) Luhman of Red Wing, MN, and John (Heidi) Berry of Tomah; a daughter, Jeanie (Kevin) Beauchene of Tomah; four brothers, Dean (Marcia), Jonathan (Lora), Randall, all of Goodhue, MN, and Allen (Sherry) of Lake City, MN; his mother, Mildred of Goodhue, MN; eight grandchildren, Jonathan, Cory, Josh, Jessica, Brandon, Tucker, Tanner and Taite; two sisters, Barbara (Wally) Milow of Zumbrota, MN, and Suzanne (Richard) Carley of North Port, FL; a sister-in-law, Vicki (Jeno) Biro of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers-in-law, Donald (Dandy) Edmiston of Indianapolis, and Mark (Kathy) Edmiston of Florida, and other relatives and friends.
