He emigrated in 1868 from Preussen (Prussia).^1,3 He appeared in the census in 1870 in New Lisbon, Juneau County, WI.³ His occupation was "Isamen (?) Laborer." Karl appeared in the census in 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^2,4 His residence was at 122 West Benton Street and his occupation was "Railroad Laborer." He appeared in the census in 1900 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁵ His household was on Superior Avenue. He died on 19 January 1907 at the age of 76 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ Karl was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹ in the Oak Grove Cemetery. He was a baggageman for the St. Paul Railroad for 15 years.¹

Karl "Julius" LUECK and Auguste GARSKE were married in 1860 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,4,6 According to the 1900 Census, they had 7 children, of whom 5 were living at the time.) Auguste GARSKE was born in January 1840 in Preussen (Prussia).^1,2,3,5 (She was listed as age 30 in the 1870 Census, but as age 35 in the 1880.) She emigrated in 1868 from Preussen (Prussia). Sanford.

Otto Franz Theodor "Frank" LUECK was born on 14 November 1866 in Preussen (Prussia).^2,3,8 He appeared in the census in 1870 in New Lisbon, Juneau County, WI.³ He was confirmed on 21 March 1880 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁸ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Frank appeared in the census in June 1880 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.² He died on 23 January 1881 at the age of 14.⁶ He was buried on 25 January 1881 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ in the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.

7	vi.	Emil Julius LUECK was born on 10 March 1873 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ He was baptized on 20 April 1873 in Ridgeville Township, Monroe County, WI.⁶ at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church.
