Nathan Darius "Nate" MANLEY was born on 23 April 1870 in Monroe County, WI.^5,10,17 He appeared in the census in 1870 in Lincoln Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁰ He appeared in the census in 1910 in Minneapolis Township, Roberts County, SD.³ His occupation was "Farmer, General Farm." Nate died on 11 October 1960 at the age of 90.¹⁷ He was buried.¹⁷ in the Sisseton Cemetery.

Nathan Darius "Nate" MANLEY and Nellie Edna BURCH were married about 1897.^3,5,17 They had four children--three sons and a daughter--living with them during the 1910 Census. Nellie Edna BURCH was born on 20 April 1877 in Morristown, Rice County, MN.^3,5,17 She appeared in the census in 1910 in Minneapolis Township, Roberts County, SD.³ She died on 7 November 1940 at the age of 63.¹⁷ Nellie was buried.¹⁷ in the Sisseton Cemetery.

Nathan Darius "Nate" MANLEY and Mattie Regina ULSTAD were married.⁵ Mattie Regina ULSTAD was born on 22 July 1885.⁵
