Myra Maria LUDEKING was born on 20 November 1916 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^87,149 She was baptized on 23 November 1916 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.¹⁴⁹ She appeared in the census in 1920 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ Myra appeared in the census in 1930 in Wilton Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁴ She died on 26 January 2005 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴

Obituary Notes: "Myra M. Meyers, 88, of Tomah, died Wednesday, January 26, 2005, at Tomah Memorial Hospital. She was born November 20, 1916, to Louis and Alma (Marten) Ludeking, in the Town of Tomah.

She was united in marriage to Roy H. Meyers on February 6, 1937, at St. Peter's Ev. Lutheran Church, in the Town of Clifton. He preceded her in death January 30, 2001. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Tomah.

She worked in sales in local retail stores prior to her retirement.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She will be sadly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

Myra is survived by two sons, Stanley (Barbara) of Woodstock, GA, and William of Forest Park, GA; eight grandchildren, Randy and Richard (Christine) Holcomb of West Allis, Robin (Marshall) Dail of Lewisburg, NC, Sheryl (Robert) Gasper of Rock Falls, IL, Beau (Kathy) Meyers of McDonough, GA, Beth (Mike) Harris of Forest Park, GA, David (Prenby) Meyers of Zebulon, NC, John Meyers of Stockridge, GA; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters, Violet Rogge and Marlene Moskow, both of Tomah; a sister-in-law, Kathryn Ludeking of rural Camp Douglas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Roy; a daughter in-law, Mary Jo Meyers; two brothers, Raymond and Verland.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 31, 2005, 10:30 a.m.at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Tomah. Pastor Phillip M. Enderle officiated. Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Tomah. Relatives and friends called on Sunday from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the Sonnenburg Family Funeral Home, 801 E. Monowau Street, Tomah, and at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the services." She was buried in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^304,305 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Myra Maria LUDEKING and Roy Hugo MEYERS were married on 6 February 1937 in Clifton Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ Roy Hugo MEYERS³⁰⁶, son of Amiel Albert MEYERS and Ida Maria Josephine HENNARICHS, was born on 20 February 1912 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^34,87 (His surname was listed as "Meyers" in the birth registration index.) He appeared in the census in 1920 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁶ Between 1938 and 1974 he was a meter reader in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ for Wisconsin Power & Light Company. Roy died on 30 January 2001 at the age of 88 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ He was buried on 2 February 2011 in Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.^34,305 in the Oak Grove Cemetery.
