Katie is survived by her daughter, Irma Ericson of Pine City; grandchildren, Douglas Small, Len Anderson, Todd Anderson, Scott Anderson, Kathy (Wade) Zwick, Jim Jr. (Lori) Ericson, Jody (Dan) Kortus; many great-grandchildren; godson, Douglas (Dianna) Baumann of Tomah; many other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Reuben Marten; parents, Philipp and Bernhardine Alberti; and son-in-law, Jim Ericson.

Pastor Jason Schulz officiated at the funeral service for Katharina Marten Monday, Feb. 22. Music was provided by her great-granddaughter, Brittney Anderson. Casket bearers were Todd Anderson, Scott Anderson, Jesse Anderson, Mike Zwick, Nick Zwick, and Chris Zwick. Interment took place in Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
