135. Mervyn Easton "Mac" MCCURDY was born on 5 March 1921 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴ He graduated in 1939 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI. from Tomah High School. He died on 12 June 2002 at the age of 81 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.³⁴

Mervyn Easton "Mac" MCCURDY and Caroline Irene "Carol" ERB were married.³⁴ They³⁴ were divorced.³⁴ Caroline Irene "Carol" ERB was born on 14 March 1923 in Chicago, Cook County, IL.²⁵¹ She died on 14 June 2014 at the age of 91 in Tomah, Tomah Township, Monroe County, WI.²⁵¹

Obituary Notes: "Caroline “Carol” McCurdy, 91, of Tomah died Saturday June 14, 2014, at Cranberry Court Assisted Living Facilities. She was born on March 14, 1923, to, Leslie and Irene (Bock) Erb in Chicago. She was united in marriage to Mervyn “Mac” McCurdy. They were later divorced.

She belonged to the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She worked as a cook at Mr. D’s. Caroline loved entertaining for Mac’s business parties and parties in general. Whether it was making martinis, cooking the meal, or being the life of the party, she wanted everyone to know that she had a zest for a fun life, unfettered by convention. Thus, she was always known as a ‘real pistol’ and embraced that title.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan (Bruce) Wells, of Tomah, Christine Marie (special friend, Steve) McCurdy of Edmonds, Wash., and Ronald McCurdy of Hilo, Hawaii; a granddaughter, Michelle Marie Huber, of Madison, Wis.; a good friend, Ruth Bailey; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her former husband, Mac; a brother, Leslie McCurdy; and best friends, Edna Conway, Alice Tralmer and Ev Randall."
